What happens if the job takes longer than the block I booked?
Your specialist proposes the extra time as a change order and you approve it before any more is charged. The block you funded can't be increased on its own — once money is held it's fixed — so extra time always means a new amount you agreed to.
How much time should I book to service several units?
A routine service and sanitise runs about 40 minutes a unit, so a two-hour block usually covers two to three high-wall units in the same house. The table above is a guide for budgeting the block, not a commitment.
Does the hourly rate include the call-out?
Yes — travel within Auckland is included in the rate, which is why stacking several small jobs into one block works out better than booking them separately.
What is checked before a heat pump specialist can accept?
We verify EWRB registration, which covers the electrical connection. Refrigerant handling sits under a separate scheme with no public register we can check, so we never present it as register-verified — ask your installer to show that certification directly.
